As we are continuing throughout this past week, I am constantly reminded by all of the things that I want. I want to be prepared for my classes, I want to be able to finish all of my homework and studying, I want to worship God and lead others closer to him. But I also want safe travel to and from Chicago and around the city, and good communication with everyone I encounter. I also want other things, like the chance to see my friends and eat good food and maybe possibly relax!
As we are leaving the story of Saul behind us and looking forwards to David, I am still caught up in asking myself if I am wanting something that God does not want for me. Am I going down the path that God has planned for me and wants me to follow, or am I doing my own thing, convincing myself that this is what God wants me to do?
My prayer for all of us is that we are able to discern better what it is that God wants us to do and we are better able to follow him through all things!
Join us this coming Sunday as we hear from a guest speaker talk about Team World Vision and to celebrate what work has already been done through them!
