What a great morning we had this past Sunday when Dani Cole from Team World Vision came and shared God’s Word and a special invitation with us. If you missed her message, I encourage you to listen to it here…especially if you’re not overly familiar with what all of this “Team World Vision” stuff is.
As I shared briefly in the video after Dani’s message, the invitation to partner with Team World Vision is such a great way for us to make a global impact for God’s Kingdom in the northern region of the DR Congo. I also love that this opportunity is deeply partnered with the multi-decade ministry of our denomination and the national Covenant denomination there in Congo (specifically through Covenant Kids Congo in recent years). You can learn more about this specific World Vision work of helping to bring access to clean water (and so much more!) here.
I want to reiterate the invitation from Sunday. Would you prayerfully consider joining our Team Creekside part of Team World Vision? As crazy as it sounds, I’m in and all signed up for running a half marathon in order to help raise funds for this very important ministry…and I’d love for you to join me and the others who have already signed up to! You don’t have to be a runner (I’m not!) and you don’t even have to run it…you can walk it.
