Youth ministry at Creekside isn’t about having programs, cool groups, or “stuff” for kids to do. The goal isn’t primarily to entertain, occupy, or even engage our kids. It is about a whole Church, people of all ages, loving our young people. Our kids are much more than a collection of youth-focused programs, a well-executed curriculum, or a ministry department; they are part of our community and part of God’s Kingdom. The aim at Creekside is to help our kids grow up with an identity rooted in a God who loves them and we do that by being a Church that is willing to live God’s love into their lives on a day-to-day basis.
That said, we have a number of ongoing places of connection for Middle School through High School age students. Sunday School, Middle School Youth Group and Sr. High Youth Group are awesome opportunities for kids to have fun, build relationships, and learn about a God who is calling them into His good work in His world. The atmosphere is always laid back and welcoming so stop on by. Middle School Sunday School
AGE: 6th-8th Graders
TIME: 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at the dismissal (around 9:50 AM)
Join us as we talk about being in the Journey. We will think about how God pursues us in our faith, in our day-to-day life, in our friendships and relationships, in everything we do.
Middle School Youth Group
AGE: 6th-8th Graders
TIME: Sunday Nights, 5:00-7:00 PM
1st & 3rd Sunday of the month at Creekside for dinner & discussion
Middle School Meet Up
AGE: 6th-8th Graders
TIME: Last Sunday of the month, Noon
Middle School students meet up with Highland Covenant Middle School on the last Sunday of each month at noon for lunch, games and a lesson.
High School Youth Group
AGE: 9th-12th Graders
TIME: Sunday Nights, 6:00-8:00 PM
1st & 3rd Sunday of the month at Creekside for dinner & discussion
High school is a pivotal time for young people and their faith. Our group is a place to explore questions about faith and life in an open environment It’s an opportunity to discover what it means to have friends in the faith journey, to make faith your own, and to have a lot of fun doing it.
